I gotta admit: I'm pretty impressed with these.
Little Full-Persian weave (20g 3/16") encircled around beads of Picasso Jasper. Used red brass for the metal. It has a bit more honey color than jeweler's brass, and it turned a beautiful color when it tarnishes.
It was missing a little something, so I put three black anodized aluminum rings in the rose pattern at the bottom, and it fit the piece really well.
Originally I was just making a little something for
's contest, but went a little further with the design, and I'm pleased to have done so.

I think I'd prefer a drop over the extra black cluster underneath, but I like how you use the persian. I'm never sure how to finish it neatly, and this is such a clever use for a flexible weave.
